Ok, so during the freezing rain/pellet event...asos crashes twice...and without the CWO, there would be no reports...then as usual, ADDS has an outage,so nws doesnt seem to know how to get our observations...even though, its in the AISR collective...(NWS says whats that???) really,? So i phone reports to them...This is just classic...ASOS cant hold up in a weather event, Comm lines go down, NWS clueless on how to get around it all...and ATC sleeps...BUT in the FAAs warped minds this is all acceptable...I can guarantee you, ATC would report UP all night long, or nothing at all, as our ASOS doesnt report fzdz, or fzra...or pl...and we are ifr....but its safe to fly and no degrading of service...and we are one of the 57 they want to shut down...morons!!
