I am a PATCO member but have no use for Jerry. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. Can't trust the guy. Glad you were being sarcastic. I hold you in high regard hlsto2...

We need to, collectively, raise a pool of money, hire a very good aviation attorney and file a class action lawsuit against the FAA to prevent them from enacting any changes in the CWO program until such time the ATCT folks can demonstrate that their observations meet the same quality of standards provided by the current CWO's. We already have tons of evidence that shows the slop they are putting out today. Any thoughts? Good idea but they could claim that they wouldn't have to meet the standards of CWO observations if they reduce the stations ATC takes over to C Level service.

If PATCO intends to do something they need to start now. Are you reading this Jerry? We all know we are on shaky ground so a class action needs to be filed now, not after the FAA implements their plan.... Can PATCO even file anything before the plan is officially announced? I don't know what the answer to that is. Lawyers are expensive and don't always succeed. The only time I've seen the FAA reverse a decision on station downgrades was last year when they shut down the 14 sites and reopened them a couple of days later, that was due to the work of some of the folks at those sites, some of the contractors that were affected, and a few congressmen. By now every site should have an idea whether or not they will be closed when the FAA implements the plan and have already contacted users/politicians to let them know what could be happening in the future.

Some of those congressmen are now out of office, this is why I'm worried. The new ones may not care.

TCU, I don't know if this is the latest used timeline, but in all your spare time (ha-ha) could we start to update this? I know it may be asking for a lot, but I also know I'm starting to confuse and/or forget events of the past year especially.

If anyone has data to add to the file, feel free to do so ...
