Are there no other CBAs to be posted? I was looking forward to comparing and contrasting. That's how we all learn. How disappointing.

I realize Admin stated "do not comment in this thread", but I wanted to mention that PATCO advised me that it is OK to share the CBA's, as they are public record. That's why I didn't post earlier, and may be why others are hesitating. If you want to post anonymously, Admin says you can send them to him to post, though I'm not sure how to do that. Perhaps he will provide instructions.

I'm not sure this is such a good idea. I think it is just going to piss people off when they see how much more another station is getting compared to theirs. The two posts already have a huge variance compared to mine, which makes me angry as to why we are not all getting the same benefits: personal days, holidays and vacation.

It's just information. We should all be getting the same total wages/benefits, with the exception of cost of living. Some locations are much more expensive to live in than others, and should be compensated accordingly. I for one would want to know if I'm getting less than the average so that I can try to effect a change. This way we know where we stand. My apologies for breaking the rules of this thread - maybe these comments can be moved to a "CBA Discussion" thread.

These CBAs are all public record (since we work on a government contract) and the idea is to compare and contrast and to see what you should be negotiating for in the future or be happy with what you have now. Cost of living does play a big part in this and I know that cost of living comparisons for city by city can be found on the web somewhere. I believe your cost of living is ranked as a number from 1 to 100 with 100 being the highest cost of living on one website I found years ago.
