prorated you get it in 4 hrs chunked for x number of hours worked (I think it's 168)

If that's three personal days (24 hrs) for a full timer it would be 1 pers hr for every 86.66 hrs worked.

Yea we can thank the lousy negotiating skills of Jerry Tuso for that. Went from 7 personal days down to 3 days at contract renewal. We will all be better off without him.

That seems to be the way things went when PATCO went the way of the master agreement. Makes negotiations easy for PATCO but screws the dues paying members.

we dont get any personal days or sick days Holy smokes !!! You might want to consider getting a new shop steward, unless you all decided on throwing in the days for higher wages.

Trading personal time for higher wages is the way to go if given the chance. When the contracts change over you'll keep the higher wages and pick up whatever personal time the new contractor has in their CBA.

Contractors don't have CBAs. They have company handbooks that are over ruled by union CBAs. If it were up to the contractor they would give you whatever the wage determination is for your area. If your CBA says 3 and the company handbook says 6...guess what you are getting.
First line in your patco master agreement of Article 3. If your CBA says 3 it over rules whatever the company handbook says.
