And now to un-hijack my OP, if I may...
I believe that whoever scheduled this conference call (Sam I guess) had a terminology problem between Standard Time and Daylight Time. We as wx observers actually deal with standard time routinely. I emailed Sam to confirm "standard time" vs "daylight time." He replied back to me: "I apologize I got all confused it is 3pm central this is my oversite and thank you for the catch". Now he still fails to include "CDT" in his reply, but I do believe that's what he really means. Why would anyone schedule an event in standard time while we are in daylight time? I would suggest to anyone who will participate in the telecon that they call in at 4pm EDT/ 3pm CDT. Since the original email states 3pm CST, converting to daylight time would be 4pm CDT. This would be 1 hour too late. If I'm wrong, at the worst you will be calling 1 hour early vs 1 hour late.

Sam - When the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3 you can start your call.

I would like to listen in on the telecon and I'm sure this info. may already be available and I just somehow missed it, but what phone number do we call to join the telecon and do we need a code to sign in. No one at my facility has received any info from either PATCO or USCWOA.

No one at my facility has received any info from either PATCO or USCWOA. I gather one would need to contact PATCO, unless there is telcon info somewhere on this board. This telcon from what I understand has nothing to do with the association. It is a PATCO / Union call.

I'll just check on this forum after the conference to see what other people post.

The telcon was by invitation only, as the bridge had a limited number of lines? I'm guessing. "This teleconference is full", the bridge computer announced, and as an invitee I'm more than a little pissed that I couldn't get on. I would have posted a summary here had I been able to attend. This is one reason PATCO doesn't like to reach out this way - they get inundated. We members have a right to know what they are doing on our behalf - they should at least send out newsletters. But the aggrieved posters on this board add to their reluctance, because they don't want to deal with anger. Did I just say snowflakes gotta have their safe spaces? Sorry, I need to chill - I've wasted 1/2 of a day off that I should have been doing chores around the house before the snow flies next month...

Probably didn't even have one. Did anyone on this forum actually listen in on the teleconference or did you have trouble getting on. Smells fishy..

I hope the call went well with the new number, and Folks followed the MUTE PHONE! rule. I went to my backup other job in case the weather job is gone instead of calling in. I tried to get PATCO more involved and relevant. Added dues for Lobbying, the amount paid for USCWOA. We choose the Lobby Firm, it went nowhere. Just get the CBA's done for everyone that needs PATCO to do this without a wage freeze. Fair is all that's expected. If you can't get this done, I doubt PATCO will be around much longer.

I did finally get a hold of Sam and he had no hesitations giving out the phone # and code. The very fact that the call conference lines where inundated goes to show that a lot of CWOs are concerned about our jobs and not getting info. The only info I or anyone in my facility have received is occasionally through this forum and occasionally through our contractor. I would like to suggest that since all members pay dues and all of our jobs are in jeopardy, that PATCO and USCWOA occasionally send out an email newsletter. This is not a complaint, just a comment/suggestion. Thanks.
