Everybody at our CWO was required to send a resume to our new contractor/subcontractor/sub-sub...etc. they said job "offers" would be made in February. Well...it's March..no offers to keep our own jobs. Proly doesn't mean anything...but this is the same contractor that was going against our CBA on 4 issues. When they were reminded about it they got mad. Wait till the union reminds them

Hltsto2, I personally wouldn't sweat the offer letters. My guess is they said February before the contracts were further delayed. Lots of uncertainty out there so it's probably best not to go through the process until things settle. I think we will hear some news soon on a series of more cuts due to sequester. Hope to be wrong but doubt I am. As for the contractor breaking CBA rules, that is another matter and should never happen. What rules have they said they would break? Curious.

Well...if they furlough us for 30 days or whatever...I can go ahead and have my knee surgery:) We are not concerned with "offer" letters. What are they going to offer? They have to keep the present staff.
