For those part time sites, or soon to become part time sites:
Does the supervisor open each morning and is it required that he/she will work the first shift of the day?

no! a privilege of being the supervisor is they set up the schedule and work when they want to unless the contractor tells they otherwise...

A supervisor must be on shift 4 of the 8 hours that are considered "normal" buisness hours according to most statements of work
