Opened ticket. AOMC dialed into the site and found that the comms log indicates ADAS - ASOS link down on 7/08/15 @ 0255L/1151z. Sybase utility show report indicates last hourly ob was received 080853z. POCC POC (MP) was notified.

Updated ticket. AOMC (KM) called POCC for an update status and spoke to POCC (CAN). POCC (CAN) advised FTI checked the line good and returned service A to service. However, POCC (CAN) stated she don't see any evidence of the line being checked. AOMC also dialed into the site and informed POCC (CAN) that the ADAS-ASOS link is still showing its down and that customers have contacted TOC reporting METARS not updating. POCC (CAN) stated she will reopen a trouble ticket, request ZAB to check the ADAS then, afterwards will contact FTI and request they test/retest the line.

Updated ticket. AOMC called WFO TWC and inquired whether they experienced a power outage or aware of an issue with ASOS. WFO TWC Forecaster (GL) advised there are 2 sites DUG and TUS that have been down for over the past 24hrs (080900z) and inquired the status. Forecaster, GL stated the ASOS checks good and that this is an FAA issue not ASOS issue. AOMC inquired whether the tower is putting obs out manually. Forecaster, GL advised they are not. AOMC requested GL to contact the tower and request them to manually send METARS. GL stated he will contact and request METARS are sent manually. AOMC also informed GL that POCC has been notified, has a ticket open and in the process of working on this issue. AOMC updated site DUG with this information. AOMC TT# 150708-056/ FAA TT# 1055506304.

Update Ticket. AOMC contacted (BS) POCC for an update. BS noted that they were waiting for the Techs to get into work at ZAB and get a response from them on the ADAS. ZAB is checking their equipment right now. 07/09/2015 14:37:31
