During a recent local, while on a break the facilitator mentioned that the 57 were just a beginning. The FAA will be closing every station after this round. Now this may very well be the thoughts of the facilitator as not the "official stand" of the FAA, but knowing the agencies track record as was the case in 2013 ... these 57 sites will not be the last targeted, as was the case of the 14 in 2013. Folks, I cannot stress this enough, that if you haven't yet contacted you Congressman/Senator etc.. NOW is the time to do so. This is the 2nd occurrence I have heard of the "57" just being a stage in shutting down the entire program. They get 57,, the remaining 79 or so will go much smoother.

You need to get your head out of the sand if you think it stops after 57 sites. I'm not at one of the 57 sites but I have sent out numerous e-mails and letters and have talked to a variety of people on the phone. I had a meeting with the ATM Manager last month and I have another meeting scheduled with the Airport Manager in March. Be aggressive and put this crap to an end...
