I know it's on here somewhere but what is the timeline for when these meetings are supposed to end and when we will hear about closings. Are they still on track to meet those deadlines.

The FAA timeline per AJT-21 Memo dated 28 Oct 2015. All 57 airport SRMPs & documentation should be finalized in 4 months (end of Feb). Each site’s SRMD or SRMDM are due 10 days after the individual SRM Panel. SRMPs began Dec 2nd, and the last site is scheduled on Feb 24th, 2016. So, it appears the FAA is close to their proposed end of February safety review timeline. Next… probably sometime in March, when the SRMPs and documentation are finalized, vendors will be notified of transitioning sites, ATC LAWRS training begins with a completion target within 3-6 months. Planned CWO to LAWRS transition should be completed by Aug 31st, 2016. I’m sure there will be various site specific delays…some of those related to LAWRS certification. Our FAA Western Service Center projects transition for the western region sites to occur by Nov or Dec 2016. If this unfortunate scenario plays out, stay in touch with your ATM. They will know when there should be enough LAWRS certified controllers to transition.
Until then, continue to engage your Congressional Representatives and Senators.

So where do we stand as of 4/4/16. Seem like there are delays and things are running behind. I been reading things about being put on hold. What exactly is on hold? The closing of the 57 sites or the next phase of them closing us.

We all know that the Federal Government (and especially the FAA) proposes a schedule, but never actually sticks to it. So who knows what the schedule is now. Hopefully, the FAA has been so busy putting out fires and answering to Congress as to what the heck they are thinking that there is exactly no schedule and the proposal in any form will never happen. Of course, I need to see that in writing to believe it, but it can happen and needs to happen and that's where we come in.
