Just toeing the company line... Why didn't he start with "well we at the FAA have deemed thunderstorms not significant to safety, therefore the spotting and reporting of the tornado by our standards is irrelevant" I'm also 99% sure what he said went on at these panels, went on at none of them |

Maybe some folks should call Huerta up with reports of the safety panels, and how things seem to be pre-determined in those- and ask them to investigate the FAA head for lying to Congress?

I believe that is in the works. One thing is for sure with pressure mounting in DC--- Little Mike is going to have to start coming up with some better answers rather then that canned BS -- real soon. |

At our SRM panel the moderator said It HAS been determined that these 57 sites will shift to ATC. A direct 180 from what Huerta said.
This is getting more and more interesting folks.

Our SRM was back in December and the FAA facilitators had the audacity to say that "our bosses have already said that this is a done deal" and that "we're only having this meeting (the local SRM) to make the transition go more smoothly". Fortunately, no one in the room actually believed them anyway as we knew coming in that they had their own agenda.
It's just more of the FAA talking out both sides of their mouths as they constantly contradict one another with sometimes the same person contradicting himself within the same statement. It's really pathetic, unprofessional, and purposefully deceitful to the public who pays their salaries. Transparent, my ass!

That is exactly how it was at ours Skobie. My contractor was told the same. I dont see much coming from the lie to Congress though. It seems that happens on a regular basis.
