These were consecutive reports from this site. At least 2 METARs were missing, during thunderstorm activity. SPECIs were possibly missed as well.

The thunderstorm remark was a jumbled mess, which inlcuded 2 thunderstorms that did not meet the minimum 15-minute criteria. VSBY W 4SM was not the correct sector visibility format.

TS less than 15 min is just typical of ALDARS. ATCT ignores ASOS and lets ALDARS do it's thing. Then when ATCT attempts remarks, they more often than not make a big mess.

eagle-eyed obstroller at the cheyenne, wy, ATCT, allows a false HZ speci to xmit at 0320. then, the "reliable" ASOS cranks out 2 more false HZ specis at 0357 and 0406. missing vis 0430-0553. this is what the FAA calls quality...

ATCT south bend indiana (former B site). bounces back and forth between manual obs and ASOS. no metars xmtd between 1954-2354. no metars xmtd after 0054..it is now 0607...quality is unbelievable!

actually...TS within 5 miles...but the lightning 5-10 miles out but no direction given. GR is hail 1/4" or larger...nautical miles are NOT reported...only SM... 10NM NDRK should be GR 10 N DRK...and a time would have been nice to know. in other words..worthless remarks. ATCT does not understand what VC..in the vicinity...means.

ft smith ATCT fails to report a severe tstm that strikes the airport by surprise. I don't think that FAA can make an excuse for this gross incompetence and dereliction of duty.
