I just emailed Anne Kusaka about her powerpoint that's been making the rounds. If she responds I'll post it immediately. BTW, good job putting together the LAWRS numbers by region.

I don't think observers can make less than the DOL wage determination. I've seen what hiring "private observers" does. It's worse than atc observers...if that's possible.

I just heard from a reliable source that this may truly be a smoke screen as some have contested all along. Either that or the higher ups in the FAA are doing a great job of keeping those in the middle out of the loop. This is just absolutely crazy. Feel like I'm on a rollercoaster. Don't know what to believe anymore. Just hope that letter is released by the FAA by that 15 March deadline.

Has anyone else noticed this:
If you remove slide 3 and 4 how smooth the transitions goes.
Also slide 3 and 4 (Arial) are in a different font than the slide 2 and 5 (Arial body).
As someone who used to do ppt presentations on a regular basis smooth transition and same font are all part of the presentation.
I'm just sayin'

The presentation goes from region to national and the presentation is a regional presentation.

I called my contractor today and he told me he hasn't heard anything from the FAA and is not aware of any vendor meeting scheduled for today.

I just read a message that our contractor sent us. Everything is pretty much true! Those sites scheduled to close on 5/1 will and his plan is to shut down the rest of the program on 7/31...we have heard this before!
I think we need to pull together and let the media be our friend. We need to send letters and push the importance of our job for the safety of every person that steps on a airplane. We can not let these jokers get the last laugh...
