LAWRS at KNEW jumped ship after the 272053ZS metar...leaving ASOS in AUTO to report only altimeter. the CWO at KMSY stayed operational during ZETA with gusts of 62 knots. eye passing very close to the east. KNEW did come back at 291353Z for one metar...then back to AUTO. equal quality...transparency. how does that work again??
